Departure almost here

The last few days have been incredibility relaxing and energetic.

We kayaked along a beautiful lagoon, spotting sea eagles and ospreys circling in the sky and watched fish jump several metres out of the water. We have walked along beaches that we had to ourselves; looking either way and not seeing another soul or traces of others is incredibly special and potentially unique to Australia. We have become much more competent and proficient at using the drone (nicknamed Ariel or the little mermaid). It gives us incredible images of our surroundings, again increasing our appreciation of the stunning landscapes. These last few days camping (that should be glamping!) have been perfect to recharge our batteries in preparation for the adventures ahead. Some drone footage [https://youtu.be/EryRgMT_l7s] and Alistair kayaking [https://youtu.be/ifS6CotJ-3o].

After the few days at the beach, we arrived in Brisbane to meet up with family. It was also a busy time to repack (way too many times), double guess ourselves, book a few extra activities, get a new iphone (as the old one decided to stop working - actually good timing to do the phone swap with local internet!!) and get the camper sorted for the kids to use and for our piece of mind.

Next stop is Europe.

EXCITED!
